This course provides a review of volumetric measurement practices for new personnel to a laboratory or serves as a periodic review for experienced personnel. The module covers volumetric measurements using volumetric glassware including details of volumetric flasks, graduated cylinders, volumetric pipettes, burettes, and dispenser pipettes and bottles. Other topics of best practices for volumetric measurements such as calibration, proper documentation, quality assurance, safety, and cleaning are also discussed. Interactive evaluation questions are included in the module to help ensure that attendees understand the material. Video demonstrations and example graphics are also included.
