In the first webinar in Agilent’s Forensics Smart Connected Laboratory Webinar Series, Strategic Business Development Manager Mike Lee will introduce digital transformation and begin to explore how this can improve the speed, efficiency, and reliability of your laboratory. First, we will define what digital transformation is – including the Internet of Things (IOT), Industry/Industrie 4.0, Big Data, Cloud, analytics and ubiquitous connectivity – and examine how smart, connected systems are driving this revolution. Next, we discuss an approach to implementing greater digital capabilities in the lab including barriers for adoption, data privacy and cybersecurity and the importance of a smart, connected digital platform.
